 Once the guests took their seats, the ceremony proper got underway. Most
of it was surprisingly boring, with speeches by government officials.
Fortunately, things got enlivened by traditional dance performances of
the various villages. Asilulu itself presented this rather unusual dance
by the village's "Alifuru" descendants.
