Benteng Nosra Senora del Rosario

Atmospherically crumbling in the bush close to the road on the far side of the island, this small Portuguese fort has so far escaped being recast in concrete, though an ugly concrete walkway and concrete umbrellas have been built right around it. Next to it is a monument commemorating historical events of the era, notably the execution of Sultan Khairun.
