 Gedung Agung is located on the right at the lower part of jalan
Malioboro traveling south. It was once the residence of the Dutch
Resident (administration) and between 1946 - 1949, during the struggle
for independence. It functioned as the residence of the first President
of Indonesia Soekarno.
