Gu ests from other islands started arriving the day before the main
ceremony, so on that day, the welcoming comittee of ladies could
consist of both Muslim women from Asilulu and Christian ones from
Nusalaut. They were holding the very long "Kain Gandong", with which
they eventually encircled arriving guests, dancing and singing while
holding it.
