 This palace was built Pagar Ruyung originally in 1976, replacing bagunan
Dutch origin that has been destroyed. Last palace destroyed by the
Dutch in the year 1804. Which fostered the original palace was once
inhabited the palace of King Minangkabu Alam, Sultan Alam Muning.
Pagar
Ruyung said to be descendants of the kings of the beginning of the
Malays. Fences Ruyung Kingdom is a kingdom that had once been located in
the district of Tanjung Emas, Batusangkar city, Flatland District. The
kingdom was founded by Prince Adityawarman of Majapahit in 1347.
Parameswara who opened Melaka is also said to have ties to Prince
Adityawarman.
