Ponjok Batu temple was built by King Cri Waturenggong (1460-1515).
Ponjok Batu means Stoney Cape. This temple was in respect to the
wandering priest Dang Hyang Nirartha, during his spiritual journey to
teach Hinduism by the turn of the sixteenth century. From the temple
vicinity, visitors can enjoy the beautiful view of Jawa Sea. A holy
spring near the temple provide bathing facility and source of holy water
