Day 01 ARRIVAL IN BALIKPAPAN – SAMARINDA (D)
Upon arrival in Balikpapan meeting service at airport and directly transfer to Samarinda for check-in hotel. Free at your own leisure.
Day 02 SAMARINDA – MAHAKAM RIVER
After breakfast at hotel, we will proceed to boat station for starting our expedition by cruising the Mahakam River by public houseboat, here you can explore the local people way of life, the riverside civilization that certainly different with our normal life on the land. The houseboat is a public traditional wooden boat with two decks, the first deck for carrying goods and economy class with capacity about 100 passengers and the second deck is for executive class with capacity of 75 passengers. The economy room is more open both sides and no mattress while the executive served mattress, with communal room, no cabin and no AC. At the back side, there are some Borneo style toilets and simple restaurant providing Indonesian food, tea, coffee, and snacks on the first deck. The boat will stop sometimes to pick and drop passengers or loading some supplies. Lunch, dinner and overnight on houseboat.
Day 03 MAHAKAM RIVER – LONG BAGUN (BLD)
At the second day on the houseboat, we will cruise the upper Mahakam River while sightseeing beautiful view of rain forest as well as people unique activities at riverside. Lunch, dinner and overnight on houseboat. (B,L,D)
Day 04 LONG BAGUN – TIANG OHANG (BLD)
Get a full day trip by public boat to cruise the headwaters of Mahakam River through some amazing rapids while sightseeing beautiful view of rain forest as well as people unique activities at riverside. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on local house.
Day 05 TIONG OHANG – MUARA HUBUNG – MUARA SAITE (BLD)
After breakfast at local house, we will cruise the headwaters of Mahakam River by motorized canoe for about 2,5 hours to reach Muara Hubung. Afterwards, we will start our jungle trekking by climbing up the Atikop hill to reach Muara Saite for 3,5 hours approximately. Before dark, we will set a campsite at riverside. Lunch will be served en route, overnight on bivouac/tent and dinner will be served at tent.
Day 06 MUARA SAITE – SUNGAI BEKANA – ARINGE (BLD)
After breakfast, we will be trekking deeper into the jungle by crossing rivers and climb up the hills to reach Aringe for setting a campsite at riverside. Lunch will be served en route, overnight on bivouac/tent and dinner will be served at tent.
Day 07 ARINGE – MULLER RANGE (BLD)
After breakfast We will be trekking deeper into the jungle to reach Muller Range by crossing rivers and hills. On the way, our Dayak porters will show us how to survive on the jungle by collecting the rattan, fish catching, and setting animal trap that involve you. Before dark, we will set a campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 08 MULLER RANGE – SUNGAI SABANG (BLD)
The trek here is almost the same with before day but never boring, we will pass the monument border of West and East Kalimantan at 1000 M above sea level. Afterwards, we will be trekking downhill and crossing rivers to reach Sungai Sabang for setting a campsite at riverside. No need to rush as the jungle view is fantastic. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent.
Day 09 SUNGAI SABANG –SUNGAI BONGAN LEA (BLD)
This is the longest and toughest of all paths, since we will be trekking up and down by crossing rivers, rocks, and hills. After lunch at riverside, we will continue the trek with almost the same characteristic. The trek is so challenging and need more power and spirit of adventure. Before dark, we will set a campsite at riverside. Lunch will be served en route, overnight on bivouac/tent and dinner will be served at tent.
Day 10 SUNGAI BONGAN LEA – BRAKAN (BLD)
Trekking path here is varied but tough. We will have lot of deal with water about ½ - 1 meter deep and walking on rock at riverside. Afterwards, we will continue our journey by trekking up and down along the riverside, while sighting flora and fauna as well as the fascinating landscape along the trek. Before dark, we will set our campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 11 BRAKAN – DATAH OPET (BLD)
After breakfast, we will cross rivers, up and down passing the jungle while exploring exotic flora and fauna of Borneo. After lunch at riverside, we will then cross jungle, rivers, cave and temporary huts used by villagers when having cultivation or hunting deer, wild pig, birds, and even sometimes clouded leopard. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on bivouac/tent.
Day 12 DATAH OPET – TANJUNG LOKANG (BLD)
After breakfast, we will be trekking to Tanjung Lokang crossing secondary rainforest, rivers, hills, villager farmlands and cave. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on local house.
Day 13 TANJUNG LOKANG – KAPUAS RIVER – PUTUSSIBAU (BLD)
After breakfast, we will cruise downward the Kapuas River to Putussibau crossing challenged rapids while sightseeing beautiful view of rain forest as well as people unique activities at riverside. Lunch will be served en route. overnight on local hotel.
Dinner will be served at hotel/local restaurant.
Day 14 PUTUSSIBAU – SINTANG (BLD)
After breakfast, Proceed to Sintang by public land transportation for about 8 hours passing the beautiful view of Mount Kelam on the roadside. Arrive at Sintang and directly transfer to a nice simple hotel for overnight.
Day 15 SINTANG – PONTIANAK (BLD)
After breakfast, we will leave to Pontianak by public land transportation for about 8 hours. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on hotel.
Day 16 PONTIANAK – PANGKALAN BUN – TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel and free at own leisure till the proper time for transferring to airport for your flight to Pangkalan Bun. Arrive at Pangkalan Bun and directly transfer to Kumai sub-district for boarding the houseboat to Tanjung Puting National Park. The houseboat is a traditional wooden river boat about 6m by 2m with a roof forms the upper deck where you can view the rainforest as it glides by. The boat crew including the boatman, cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon, we will slowly explore the quite river by the houseboat while observing the primates along the riverside. Overnight and dining on houseboat, with facilities; thin mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, and simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar helpful guides and boatmen.
Day 17 TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
After breakfast, we will board the houseboat for cruising upward to Pondok Tanguy to explore the rehabilitation center of the new ex-captive orangutans. Next, return to houseboat for sailing upward the creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rainforest. At this station, you will have opportunity to trek into the rainforest with your expert guide and forest rangers to appreciate the flora as well as viewing wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and birds. Lunch will be served on houseboat. In the afternoon, we will visit the feeding station to see rehabilitated orangutans are given additional foods. We will then sail back down the river and overnight on houseboat.
Day 18 TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
Get the morning river safari by houseboat to observe river ecology and wildlife along the riverside. En route, we will stop at Pondok Tanggui Feeding Station to watch rangers feed orangutans, and then we will continue our trip by visiting the Pesalat Station to explore reforestation activities and the famous iron wood as well as other exotic vegetation. Lunch will be served on boat while sighting wild animal activities along the riverside. Next, we will depart to Tanjung Harapan Feeding Station for viewing the feeding process of orangutans. Afterwards, we will proceed to Tanjung Harapan village for sightseeing villagers' daily activities. Enjoy the natural river view on the way back, dinner and overnight on houseboat.
Day 19 TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
After breakfast, We will observe deeper the swamp rainforest by trekking in other paths that may give you an opportunity to encounter the differences of orangutans either wild or ex-captive as well as other wildlife of the low land tropical rainforest with fascinating atmosphere of the nature itself. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight on houseboat.
Day 20 TANJUNG PUTING NATIONAL PARK – DEPARTURE (B)
Return to Kumai district by boat then transfer to Pangkalan Bun airport for your next destination.

Visit three spectacular historic living longhouses for an insight into the indigenous mountain Dayak lifestyle, traveling overland and by boat. Accommodation and food is simple.
Travel Itinerary:
Day 1 : Arrive from Jakarta and embark on an exciting speedboat trip up the Rungan River to Tumbang Malahoi and its longhouse.
Day 2 : Spend the morning exploring the village and meeting the people Later continue by road to Tewah, taking a detour to Batu Suli, the holy rocky outcrop on the Kahayan River. Continue journey by klotok, or river canoe to Tumbang Anoi and stay overnight.
Day 3 : This historic longhouse was the site of the famous meeting of headhunters called by the Dutch over 100 years ago. Later travel to Tumbang Korik, where owners of the longhouse will welcome you to stay.
Day 4 : Stay a full day here, getting to know the traditional owners and join in with their pastimes.
Day 5 : A full day klotok and speedboat journey back to Palangkaraya along the Kahayan River.

Day 01: ARRIVAL IN BALIKPAPAN – LOA JANAN – MAHAKAM RIVER (BLD)
Upon arrival in Balikpapan, meet and greet with our representative and directly transfer to Loa Janan for boarding the houseboat and start the exciting adventure of Mahakam River.

Day 02: MUARA MUNTAI – TANJUNG ISUY – MANCONG
Upon arrive at Muara Muntai and sightseeing villager activities from the long wooden bridge. Next, cruise Jempang Lake to Tanjung Isuy for sighting a longhouse and villager activities and then continue our trip to Mancong by motorized canoe for exploring an impressive longhouse called Lamin Mancong with traditional dance performance of Dayak Benuaq in front of the longhouse. Afterwards, return to houseboat for cruising through Ohong River where a lot of proboscis monkeys hang on trees at riverside.
Lunch and dinner will be provided at house boat.
Day 03: LEKAQ KIDAU – TENGGARONG – BALIKPAPAN
After breakfast, visiting the Dayak Kenyah village to see remains long ear women with tattoos on their skin then return to houseboat for cruising downward the Mahakam River. A stop will be made at Tenggarong for exploring the King Collection on the Museum of Mulawarman and Royal Cemetery of Kutai Kartanegara kingdom. Afterwards, return to houseboat for sailing downward to Loa Janan. Upon arrival and directly transfer to Balikpapan for check-in and overnight on hotel.
Day 04: BALIKPAPAN – MUARA KOMAM (BLD)
After breakfast at hotel and we will drive to Muara Komam with some stop over on interesting spots.
Upon arrival, check-in hotel and overnight.
Lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurant.
Day 05: MUARA KOMAM – BARARAWA – LOKSADO (BLD)
After breakfast and proceed to visit a beautiful huge cave, then continue our trip to Bararawa swamp village for exploring water buffaloes and villager's daily lives. We will also stop at Upau village to watch thorny tree climbing and dance attraction of Dayak Upau. Next, we will travel to Nagara village for sighting traditional machete making, metal ware, and pottery home industries.
Afterwards, transfer to Loksado for check-in and overnight at lodge.
Lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurant/lodge
Day 06: RAINFOREST TREKKING (BLD)
After breakfast, proceed to trekking in Meratus Mountain crossing virgin forest, waterfalls, and traditional farms. Next, return to the lodge through different trail passing long houses, hanging bridges, rivers, and secondary forest.
After finish return back to lodge.

Day 07: LOKSADO – BAMBOO RAFTING –TRADITIONAL DIAMOND DIGGING – RESORT (BLD)
Breakfast at lodge then take adventure trip of bamboo rafting at Amandit river crossing tropical rainforest on riverside, our coach will wait on the downstream for transferring to Cempaka to explore villagers take materials out of the ground to find raw diamond on a traditional diamond digging.
Next, proceed to a resort at Tambela village for check-in hotel and resting.
Day 08: RESORT – RIAM KANAN – BANJARMASIN (BLD)
After breakfast, proceed to Riam kanan small port for boating in Riam kanan lake to explore beautiful mountainous landscape, villager's fishing ponds, boat making, and kinds of birds fly over the area. Next, driving to Banjarmasin for check in hotel and overnight.
Lunch and dinner will be provided at hotel/local restaurant.
Day 09: FLOATING MARKET – SAMPIT (BLD)
After breakfast, check-out and we will leave to floating market for exploring people trading boat to boat and return to hotel while sighting citizen activities on riverside. Next, we will drive to Sampit, upon arrival check-in hotel and overnight.
Day 10: SAMPIT – PANGKALAN BUN – KUMAI (BLD)
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and transfer to Kumai sub-district to start boating safari on Sekonyer River while sightseeing remarkable view of the river where some animals showing up to welcome visitors on their kingdom. At Camp Leakey you will have opportunity to trek into the rain forest with your expert guide and the forest rangers to appreciate the flora as well as perhaps sighting wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and birds. Lunch will be provided on boat. Afternoon, we will visit the feeding station to see rehabilitate orangutans are given additional foods. We will then sail back down the river to overnight on the boat.
Day 12: TANJUNG PUTTING NATIONAL PARK – PANGKALAN BUN – DEPARTURE (B)
Transfer to Pangkalanbun airport for next destination.

D1. PANGKALANBUN, TANJUNG HARAPAN (D)
Upon arrival at Iskandar Airport of Pangkalanbun, meeting service with our guide and transfer to Kumai sub-district to board motorboat to cruise up Sekonyer River to Tanjung Harapan, Along the river you will see many kinds of birds, proboscis monks, macaque, gibbon, and other wonderful creatures of Borneo. Upon arrival, check-in hotel and overnight.
Dinner will be provided at local restaurant.
D2. TANJUNG HARAPAN, CAMP LEAKY EXURSION, KUMAI (BLD)
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and we will visit Pondok Tanggui, an Orang Utan rehabilitation centre up Sekonyer River, and then proceed to Camp Leakey research center. Trekking through the tropical rain forest, searching for the wild Orang Utans, birds, agile gibbons, and other premature.
Afternoon return back to Kumai for overnight at hotel.

D3. KUMAI, PANGKALANBUN, PALANGKARAYA (BLD)
After breakfast at hotel, check-out and transfer to Palangkaraya. Upon arrival in Palangkaraya, check-in hotel and overnight.

D4. PALANGKARAYA, TUMBANG MALAHOI (BLD)
After breakfast at hotel and transfer to Tangkiling harbor to cruise up Rungan River by speedboat for about 5 hours to reach Tumbang Jutuh village, from there we continue by car to Tumbang Malahoi, check-in hotel and overnight.
Lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurant.
D5. TUMBANG MALAHOI (BLD)
After breakfast, we will explore the flora & fauna of tropical rain forest and the Dayak culture.

D6. TUMBANG MALAHOI, PALANGKARAYA, BANJARMASIN (BLD)
After breakfast transfer by car to Tumbang Jutuh. Here you might visit traditional mining, of Amethyst as one of the famous Kalimantan grimes stone, then continue by speedboat to Tangkiling, then continue our trip to Banjarmasin the capital city of South Kalimantan. Upon arrival in Banjarmasin, check-in hotel and overnight.
Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurant/hotel.
D7. FLOATING MARKET & DIAMOND TOUR, MUARA HATIP (BLD)
Early in the morning we will start the tour visiting the Floating Market in Kuin Village and Monkey Island on Barito River, watching Boat Making and Coconut Oil Home industry, which are done in traditional way. Afterwards continue to Cempaka Village to visit Diamond Mining Field and the traditional Diamond workshops in Martapura,
In the afternoon drive to Loksado via Kandangan.
Upon arrival check-in and overnight at Muara Hatip Village in Amandit River Lodge.
Lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurant.
D8. BAMBOO RAFTING - BANJARMASIN (BLD)
After breakfast we will try the adventure rafting Amandit River by Bamboo raft while enjoys the flora and fauna at both sides of the river. Early in the afternoon return back to Banjarmasin and check-in hotel.
Lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurant.
D9. FREE TIME IN BANJARMASIN (B)
After breakfast at hotel, Free at your own leisure for relaxing.

Upon arrival at Sepinggan airport in Balikpapan meeting service then transfer by Bus / minibus to Samarinda, check in at hotel.
Day 02: SAMARINDA, LONG LUNUK, TIONG OHANG (BLD)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Long Lunuk. On arrival at Long Lunuk direct cruise Mahakam River by motor canoe to Tiong Ohang. Upon arrival at Tiong Ohang observe the traditional Dayak culture. Meals and overnight at local house.
Day 03: TIONG OHANG, LONG APARI (BLD)
After breakfast, short sightseeing in Tiong Ohang Village, afterwards cruise the river to Long Apari. On the way you can enjoy the flora & fauna at both side of the river. In this remote area you will may see the Dayak people with the long ears. Meals provided enroute overnight at local house.
Day 04: LONG APARI, Surrounding (BLD)
Early morning after breakfast, whole day trek to the dense jungle & hunting with the Dayaks, overnight at Local House.
Day 05: LONG APARI, LONG PAHANGAI (BLD)
Breakfast, cruising downstream Mahakam River by motor canoe / long boat to Long Pahangai, arrival in the afternoon, meals provided, evening free at leisure, overnight at local house.
Day 06: LONG PAHANGAI, MAHAKAM RIVER, LONG BAGUN (BLD)
After simple breakfast by Long boat downstream Mahakam River passing the rapids. On the way you will see fascinating rocks, mountains and prime forest along the river. Meals provided enroute and overnight at local house.
Day 07: LONG BAGUN, TERING, BARONG TONGKOK (BLD)
In the morning downstream Mahakam River by boat to Tering, Arrival at Tering direct transfer by car to Barong Tongkok. Overnight at Losmen.
Day 08: BARONG TONGKOK, EHENG LONG HOUSE, MELAK, DOWNSTREAM (BLD)
Early in the morning drive to Eheng Longhouse. Afterwards proceed to Melak for downstream to Kota Bangun. Overnight at Losmen.
Day 09: KOTA BANGUN, TENGGARONG, SAMARINDA (BLD)
In the morning drive to Tenggarong to visit the former palace of Sultan Kutai Kertanegara. Where you will see the Sultan's impressive collection of heirlooms, ceramics, Dayak's art and culture items. Afterwards continue drive to Balikpapan. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10: SAMARINDA, BALIKPAPAN, DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast, free at leisure until departure time then transfer to Sepinggan airport for your flight next destination.
