    Mt Welirang Hiking and Mt Bromo Tour in 3 Days 2 Nights

    Description
    On this trip, we will trek up to Mt Arjuno-Welirang, which is a stratovolcano in the province of East Java on Java, Indonesia. It is a twin volcano. Volcanic cones and craters are located in a 6 km long of the line between Arjuno (3.339 m) and Welirang (3.156 m). Upon completion, we also do not forget a visit the famous Mt Bromo (2.392 m)

    Travel Itinerary
    Day 1. Arrival Surabaya - Transfer to Tretes - Trekking to Welirang (L/D)
    (Recommended arrival by morning flight)
    Upon arrival at Juanda Airport by morning flight, meet & greet with our guide. Transfer to Tretes Village (1-2 hours) for starting the trek to Mount Welirang 3100m.
    It will take 5-6 hrs to hike through lush temperate mountain forest to the second camp at about 2700 m elevations. Our camp will be set up near the village of the sulfur workers who live here during their 5-days shifts. The village consists mostly of simple huts and is a perfect setting for exciting photography. For the workers, we will be a positive distraction, and they are usually happy to show us around. During the trek, we only need to carry small daypacks. Overnight in tents

    Lintang Buana Tours invites you three days to explore the twin peaks of Mount Arjuno and Welirang, camping and staying overnight on the mountain and not forgetting to enjoy the beautiful sunrise on Mount Bromo.

    Day 2. Mount Welirang - Transfer to Mt Bromo (B/L/D)
    In the morning we start hiking to Summit area of Welirang volcano, we have time to explore the summit craters of Welirang and its large fumaroles fields, the sites where the sulfur is being quarried using primitive tools. Together with the miners, we walk up the mountain to its top dotted with craters and fumaroles (2-3 hours walk). The rest of the day free to explore the fumaroles or the rest of the mountain, then we go down to Camp Site. After lunch transfer back to Tretes Village then drive to Cemorolawang for check-in at the hotel

    Day 3. Mt Bromo Sunrise & Penanjakan Tour - Transfer out (B/L)
    At 3.30 in the early morning, you'll be wake up, and the jeep will bring you to the world's most famous viewpoint at Mt Penanjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera. Here we will enjoy the sunrise (if we're lucky) with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background. Afterward, the adventure continues to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 steps of stairs (Horse ride is optional). Eventually, the jeep will bring you back to the hotel for breakfast, re-packing, and check-out.
    At 09.00, transfer to Juanda Airport for your return flight. Lunch provided at a local restaurant.
